Converting kml file to shape file

 Steps to convert kml to shape file

Step 1: Create a polygon, points, lines of site area

Step 2: Click on save place which appears on left panel of google earth and save as kml or kmz format in the folder

Step 4: Open Arcgis and click on the Arctool box then click on from kml and double click on the KML to layer as shown in the below

Step 5: Follow as shown in video

Follow the above steps to convert kml to shape file. Same steps can be followed for converting shapefile to kml file.
